But as an interior designer, Pippa is fiercely proud of her work. “I have always kept true to my design principles rather than being led by a current trend. I want my designs to be timeless and elegant. However, if you come to me and ask me to design something, I can’t just go ahead without getting to know you,” she explains. “It is important to me to understand the lifestyle of my clients and to know what makes them tick, so as to have a space designed specifically for them. Ultimately they are the ones who are going to have to live in it.”
Pippa`s reputation is synonymous with several renowned interior design projects including numerous apartments in Portomaso and Tigne Point, several villas across our islands, Hotel Juliani, Zest restaurant, Barracuda Restaurant, Club 22 at the Portomaso Tower, EMD Offices at the Valletta Waterfront, The Dragonara Casino, the Grandmasters’ Suite, The Drawing Room and The informal dining room at the President’s Palace in San Anton, Cardini Restaurant, the meeting and exhibition space at Methode Electronics, several sets for major local TV stations, Dakar software systems offices, the Calamatta Cuschieri offices and their main headquarters and several private projects overseas, to mention but a few.
